Though he'd been suspended from Pima Community College for bizarre behavior, campus security remained worried that Jared Lee Loughner would return. A series of police emails in December, less than a month before the Tucson shooting spree, highlight the concern after an officer found more YouTube videos made by Loughner, the Arizona Republic reports.
"I will have a photo of Jared copied and given to the swing shift crew and have them conduct more frequent checks of the Northwest Campus," wrote one commander. The YouTube videos filled out a disturbing profile of Loughner as a student whose bizarre outbursts and obsession with perceived slights had terrified teachers and eventually led to him being kicked out of Pima.
