Coming Soon: Obamacare Comic Book

It doesn't have the ring of, say, Hulk vs. the New Avengers, but Obamacare will get the comic book treatment this fall as Health Care Reform: What It Is, Why It’s Necessary, How it Works. An MIT professor who helped craft the legislation—as well as the state's own Romneycare, for that matter—is teaming up with a publisher to sell the benefits of the legislation in the form of a graphic novel, reports the Boston Herald.

“I’m going to use the facts to tell the story,” says Jonathan Gruber. “I’m the narrator guiding the reader through the law. It’ll have lots of pictures and text.” It won't, however, have any superheroes or villains. Gruber says he initially resisted the request from publisher Hill and Wang—until his kids talked him into it. (More ObamaCare stories.)
