The Pack Is Back: Fans Take to Streets

Thousands of Packers fans braved sub-zero temperatures and took to the streets last night in the NFL's smallest city, honking car horns, hugging strangers, and screaming in celebration of Green Bay's first championship in 13 years. Team banners hung everywhere, billboards touted the Packers, and people spray painted the snow green and gold in honor of the team that beat Pittsburgh 31-25. There were green-and-gold fireworks, "We cried and we screamed. Just out of control. So nerve-wracking," one woman told the AP.

"The Packers won, so I've got to do everything," said an 18-year-old woman running through town in tights, gloves, shoes, a Packer cap, a Packer bra, and nothing else. "Go big or go home. They won so I got to go big." "Dude! It's Green Bay, Wisconsin! We won the Super Bowl!" shouted one man. "We've got nothing better to do!"
