Over the past month, the moon has made a complete orbit around the Earth, but Bill O'Reilly is no closer to believing the science behind it. In fact, O'Reilly is expanding on his earlier claims that the tides are completely unexplainable—apparently not the result of gravitational effect of the sun and moon as so many know them to be—and therefore undeniable proof of the existence of God. So what's his latest answer to critics? More baffled wonderment, points out the Huffington Post. "Okay, how did the Moon get there?" the Fox TV host now asks on his website.
"How come we have that and Mars doesn't have it? Venus doesn't have it. How come? Why not? How'd it get here?" O'Reilly even went after the sun. "How'd the sun get there? How'd it get there? Can you explain that to me?" asked O'Reilly. "Look, you pinheads who attacked me for this, you guys are just desperate." Discovery's Bad Astronomy blog has the full takedown.
