What's the latest little doodad Chinese teens love to attach to their cell phones? Condoms! It seems few gabbers in the Nanning region can be without the handy-dandy packaged "charm." Parents and teachers "can take this opportunity to strengthen sex education, to preach correct and scientific sex knowledge," gushed a Chinese psychologist.
But other officials are worried about a Chinese bugaboo: consumer quality. Some health experts fear the super cheap condoms could be a bust. The condom packages have a hole to attach to a cell phone, are printed with cartoon characters and zodiac signs and the words "interesting imported condoms"—and have no manufacturing or expiration dates.
