Christine O’Donnell and her large American flag pin appeared on the Tonight Show last night, where she divulged that she actually comes from a fairly liberal family—and she would consider dating a Democrat, as long as he “doesn’t mind being wrong a lot.” O’Donnell’s mother and most of her siblings are Democrats, she told Jay Leno, and she’s considered “one of the black sheep” for being conservative: “That’s how I learned how to debate.”

She’s also voted Democrat (“of course!”) because she votes “for the person that I think cares the most and really wants to serve.” Other topics of conversation included Sarah Palin (“an amazing woman”), the Saturday Night Live “witch” skit (“I laughed”), and her anti-masturbation comments from the ‘90s (“That was more of a ministry opportunity than a political statement”). She doesn’t know if she’ll run for office again, but told Leno she’s received a lot of “interesting” offers, “anything from a book deal to a reality show.”
