'Heart Attack Grill' Serves Free Food to Obese

Juicy burgers at one fast food eatery in Chandler, Ariz., are as serious as ... a heart attack. That's why customers and staff at the Heart Attack Grill wear hospital garb and the outlet is offering free food—including Quadruple Bypass Burgers and Flatline Fries—free to anyone who tips the scales at 350 pounds. "Other diets don't deliver results," poster boy 600-pound Blair Rivers says in an ad for the restaurant. "But I've made incredible progress on the Heart Attack Grill diet," he adds, proudly holding up smaller pants he used to wear.

"No more dangerous yo-yo syndrome," promises "Dr. Jon," appearing on the same ad. "I personally guarantee a stable upward progression of body weight." The restaurant was founded by Jon Basso, a nutritionist who used to run Jenny Craig weight-loss diet centers in Oklahoma, according to the Arizona Republic.
