A Nebraska man who suspected his girlfriend of cheating has taken a page from the CIA manual on relationships and waterboarded his lover to punish her, say cops. Trevor Case, 22, was busted after allegedly tackling his girlfriend when she returned to their home, tying her up, stuffing socks in her mouth, and pouring water over a shirt over her face, according to court documents.
“He poured a pitcher of water on her head, and she started freaking out and thought she wasn’t able to breathe,” said a police spokesman who adds, depressingly, that the "situation calmed down" when the couple's young daughter walked into the living room. Case has been charged with domestic assault, false imprisonment, and making terroristic threats, The Smoking Gun reports. (More Nebraska stories.)
