Bush's Book: He's 'at Peace' With Decisions He Made

The Drudge Report has gotten a peek at George W. Bush's upcoming book, describing it as a "strikingly personal work" in which he largely avoids taking shots at critics (and Obama) and describes how he returned to his faith in God "time and time again" on everything from 9/11 to Katrina. "You will find the president strong, loving life, and ultimately at peace with the decisions he made," a Bush source tells the website. And yes, he's doing the Oprah show.

Other tidbits:

• He gave the order to shoot down planes on September 11, 2001, and originally thought the Pennsylvania plane had been shot down.
• In his "Stem Cells" chapter, he recalls getting an emotional letter from Nancy Reagan, but writes that, ultimately, "I did feel a responsibility to voice my pro-life convictions and lead the country toward what Pope John Paul II called a culture of life."
