Technology / Mark Zuckerberg Zuckerberg: Eisenberg's Portrayal of Me 'Really Cool' In private, Zuck is 'gracious' about movie By Evann Gastaldo, Newser Staff Posted Oct 1, 2010 10:10 AM CDT Copied In this Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007 photograph, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg smiles during a talk at Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco. (AP) Mark Zuckerberg certainly seems unhappy about The Social Network—but in private, it may be a different story. Jesse Eisenberg, who plays the Facebook founder in the movie, says his cousin works at Facebook—and when he met the big boss, Zuck said, “I think your cousin is playing me in a movie; that's really cool.” In fact, Eisenberg tells Reuters, “Mark couldn't have been more gracious toward him.” “I couldn't have heard better things from my cousin both personally and professionally about Mark. It coincides with how I feel having played him as well,” Eisenberg says, adding that he would still love to meet Zuck even though doing so while filming was “an impossibility … for a laundry list of reasons. I guess I'm going to have to remain cagey on that for now.” To see the glowing reviews for the film, click here. (More Mark Zuckerberg stories.) Report an error
