Extraterrestrials do exist … and they apparently are not fans of our missiles, according to a few former US Air Force officers. Capt. Robert Salas and some of his colleagues will give a press conference in Washington, DC, today to testify that UFOs have appeared at numerous nuclear weapons sites—and that the government has been keeping these appearances a secret, AOL News reports.

One of Salas’s stories involves a “glowing red oval-shaped” UFO that hovered above a Montana Air Force base he was stationed at in 1967 and shut off all 10 nuclear missiles simultaneously. He was later told the incident was not an Air Force exercise, and was commanded never to talk about it. Salas and other military eyewitnesses are now coming forward in an effort to get the public to believe. For much more on the story—including where Salas thinks the UFO came from—click here.
