A mother blasted a raunchy cheer involving "booty" taught to her 6-year-old daughter, and was incensed when her baby was then cut from the booty-shaking tyke squad. "All I wanted was to have an objective discussion about it. They didn't hear me out," said Michigan mom Jennifer Tesche. She said the cheer "our backs ache, our skirts are too tight, we shake our booty from left to right" is "inappropriate, suggestive and outdated." It "brings down the morale of the spirit of cheerleading," she added.
Little Kennedy Tesche was promptly voted off the squad and the cheer was kept, reports ABC News. The squad coach called the mom a "lunatic," and other parents were upset about the media attention Tesche sought in her battle over the cheer. Kennedy says she's going to "miss" being on the squad. It took "every ounce not to cry with her," said her mom. "But I knew I had to stay strong."
