NH Race Still Too Close to Call

The final round of primaries before the midterms delivered some big wins for the Tea Party and there's still a prize to claim in New Hampshire. The state's seven-way Republican US Senate primary is down to two candidates and it's still too close to call between attorney Ovide Lamontagne and former state Attorney General Kelly Ayotte, the Boston Globe reports.

The New Hampshire race is another one seen as Tea Party versus establishment, though this one's not as clear cut, notes Chris Cillizza in the Washington Post. Lamontagne billed himself as ultra-conservative and played up his connection to Tea Party groups in the final weeks of the rice, but Sarah Palin and other top conservatives backed Ayotte, who currently holds a lead narrow enough for Lamontagne to legally call for a recount.
