Hottie Mexican reporter Ines Sainz described New York Jets' catcalls as she was working on a story in their locker room as "grotesque." It "mustn't happen again," she told the New York Daily News. Of course "you feel it when you are being stared at and spoken of in a certain way," she told AP. "I tried not to pay attention." Sainz has accepted an apology from the Jets, though the NFL is continuing to investigate the harassment, which began in the field during her weekend assignment covering quarterback Mark Sanchez when players threw footballs dangerously close to the model-journalist.
Sainz was back covering the team last night during its 10-9 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens in New Jersey. Sainz seemed to change her tune over time, telling the Mexican press that she "never felt attacked, nor that players reacted grossly. I thought they were kidding around," though she tweeted that she was "dying of embarrassment," notes the New York Post. Later she said on her Twitter page that the media "in solidarity have denounced what happened, hoping that there is always a respectful climate." Some critics have charged that Sainz is deliberately marketed by her TV station as the "hottest reporter" around and that she shouldn't therefore be surprised at the Jets reception.
